A very bad first time experience. I booked for 7:50pm to leave Bristol and arrive in swansea by 9:50 but no bus showed up until 10pm, then I arrived in Swansea by 1am and couldn't see a bus to go home I had to trek from Swansea bus station to Student Village where I live because I had no money to get a taxi. I so depressed right now.

The bus was delayed in leaving by two hours because the doors wouldn't shut. Instead of getting another bus for us within half an hour or so, we had to wait until the next scheduled bus arrived and then were placed on that one. We wee not informed as to what the problem was or how long we should expect to wait for a resolution until over and hour after our scheduled departure time. The goodwill gesture of 50% discount on our next booking with National Express was insufficient to cover the length of wait and poor communication. Plus, after this experience I would be very reticent in using National Express again. Very poor.
According to multiple reviews, customers express dissatisfaction with the service due to delays and late arrivals. These issues seem consistent across several reviews. Additionally, one review mentions a poor first-time experience where the bus did not show up on time and caused inconvenience for the customer's travel plans.
