Megabus Cardiff Glasgow recent customer reviews
For a long coach journey from London to Glasgow, it is imperative for adequate air conditioning facilities to be fully functional. This wasn't the case on my Megabus coach and therefore led to a most uncomfortable, sweltering and closeted claustrophobic experience I think I've ever had. Fortunately I had carried an extra bottle of water and coffee flask, all were consumed to counteract the heat and profuse sweating. The driver said he'd turned the system up fully and the over head ventilation windows no longer opened; they had been sealed. It was fortunate the driver had to stop on two occasions where there was opportunity to disembark and get some fresh air. Although there is adequate leg room, it would have been nice to have an adjustable foot rest to assist the physiology of sitting for a vast length of time. The toilet I think is always a problem whether it's a case of inadequate, toilet roll, no soap, anti-bacterial gel or no running water, or paper hand towels. I'm aware passengers too have a responsibility to be hygienic and clean up after themselves. maybe a note for future design; that some form of arm rest on the window side can be added. I think it's a general design flaw and would like to hear from the designers why they clearly haven't done this. The seats are generally comfortable enough and was appreciative of the reclining system, though without the foot rests, can add to it being a discomfort.
